Mine Soqucoin
SOQ uses Scrypt Proof-of-Work. the same algorithm as Dogecoin and Litecoin. Your Antminer L11, L9, L7, or any Scrypt ASIC works with zero configuration changes. Plus, merge-mine SOQ alongside LTC and DOGE for free bonus revenue.
Start Mining in 3 Steps
From zero to mining SOQ in under 5 minutes.
Choose a Pool
Pick a mining pool from the list below. Copy the pool's stratum URL and port number. Want to mine independently? See solo mining options — both CPU and ASIC solo mining are available in v1.0.0-rc4.
Configure Your Miner
Point your ASIC or mining software to the pool's stratum URL. Set your SOQ wallet address as the worker name. Use SoquShield (SOQ-TEC) to generate a wallet address.
Start Earning
Power on your miner and watch the hashrate appear in your pool dashboard. Block rewards are 500,000 SOQ per block (60-second block time).
New to pool mining? Wondering why you don't get the full block reward?
Our plain-English guide explains how pool payouts work, how to verify your earnings, and how Soqucoin compares to other pools.
How Pool Payouts Work →Compatible Hardware
Scrypt mining requires ASIC hardware. the same machines that mine Litecoin and Dogecoin.
| Hardware | Hashrate | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Antminer L11 / L11 Pro | 20–21 GH/s | Bitmain's latest flagship Scrypt ASIC. Best-in-class efficiency for serious operations. |
| Antminer L9 / L7 | 9.5–17 GH/s | Proven mid-range Scrypt ASICs. Widely deployed and reliable workhorses. |
| Compact Home Miners | 0.1–1 GH/s | Goldshell Mini Doge 3+, Fluminer L2, and other desktop-friendly Scrypt ASICs. |
| NiceHash | Pay-per-hash | Rent Scrypt hashpower from the NiceHash marketplace. No hardware needed. |

Pool Configuration
Copy-paste configs for popular mining software.
Antminer L11 / L9 / L7 (ASIC)
# In your ASIC web interface:
# Pool 1:
URL: stratum+tcp://pool.soqu.org:3333
Worker: YOUR_SOQ_ADDRESS.rig1
Password: x
# Pool 2 (backup):
URL: stratum+tcp://pool.soqu.org:3334
Worker: YOUR_SOQ_ADDRESS.rig1

NiceHash Marketplace
# 1. Go to nicehash.com/my/marketplace
# 2. Select algorithm: Scrypt
# 3. Set pool target:
Stratum: stratum+tcp://pool.soqu.org:3333
Username: YOUR_SOQ_ADDRESS.nh1
Password: x
# 4. Set your price and duration
# 5. Place order. hashpower starts mining SOQ
# Recommended: Start with 100-500 MH/s
# for 24h to test profitability
Merge Mining with LTC & DOGE
Mine SOQ alongside your existing Litecoin and Dogecoin mining at zero additional cost. Read the full Quantum Vanguard strategy →
What is Merge Mining?
Soqucoin supports Auxiliary Proof-of-Work (AuxPoW), the same technology Dogecoin uses to merge-mine with Litecoin. This means any pool mining LTC or DOGE can simultaneously mine SOQ at zero additional cost. no extra electricity, no extra hardware, no performance impact.
Dogecoin itself was bootstrapped this way in 2014 via merge mining with Litecoin, and it's now a $25B+ network. SOQ inherits the security of the entire LTC/DOGE mining ecosystem from day one.
Pool operators: Adding AuxPoW support for SOQ is straightforward if your pool already supports LTC merge mining. Contact labs@soqu.org for integration guidance.
Solo Mining
Mine independently and keep the full block reward. Here are your options.
Soqucoin v1.0.0-rc4 supports multiple solo mining methods. For CPU mining, use the built-in generatetoaddress RPC. For ASIC solo mining, run the pool software locally — it bridges your ASIC's Stratum protocol to the node's getblocktemplate RPC, letting you keep 100% of every block.
Option 1: CPU Mining via RPC (Works Now)
# 1. Install and run a full node
curl -sSL https://soqu.org/install.sh | bash
soqucoind -daemon
# 2. Wait for sync (check progress)
soqucoin-cli getblockchaininfo
# 3. Generate a mining address
soqucoin-cli getnewaddress "mining"
# 4. Mine a block (CPU — for testing)
soqucoin-cli generatetoaddress 1 YOUR_SOQ_ADDRESS
Option 2: ASIC via Foundation Pool (Pre-Mainnet)
# In your ASIC web interface (L7, L9, L11, etc.):
URL: stratum+tcp://mine.soqu.org:3333
Worker: YOUR_SOQ_ADDRESS.rig1
Password: x
Option 3: Solo ASIC Mining (Available in RC4)
# 1. Run a full node with wallet enabled
soqucoind -daemon
# 2. Run the pool software locally in solo mode
# Point it at your own node's RPC (127.0.0.1:44555)
# Configure reward_to as your own SOQ address
# 3. Point your ASIC at your local pool
URL: stratum+tcp://YOUR_MACHINE_IP:3333
Worker: YOUR_SOQ_ADDRESS.solo
Password: x
# You keep 100% of every block. No pool fees.
Early Emission Window: During the first ~14 months (6 halving periods of ~69 days each), block rewards range from 500,000 SOQ down to 15,625 SOQ per block — dramatically higher than the permanent 10,000 SOQ/block floor. At 500K SOQ/block, daily emission is ~720 million SOQ (1,440 blocks/day). While network difficulty is still low, even smaller miners have a realistic chance of finding blocks.
Rule of thumb: If your hashrate is ≥1% of the total network hashrate, solo mining is viable. Check the current difficulty on the SOQ-TEC dashboard.
