  • Cryptocurrency wallet addresses (Solana SPL addresses)
  • Email addresses (optional, for airdrop notifications and project updates)
  • Discord/Twitter handles (if you connect via social authentication)

  • Date/time stamps of visits
  • IP address (for geofencing restricted jurisdictions)

  • Publicly accessible and immutable
  • Not controlled or deletable by the Soqucoin project
  • Associated with your wallet address (which may be pseudonymous but not fully anonymous)

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Airdrop Administration

  • Distribute sSOQ tokens to eligible participants
  • Verify eligibility (age, jurisdiction, wallet validity)
  • Prevent fraud (duplicate claims, bot activity)

3.2 Communication

  • Send airdrop confirmations and distribution updates
  • Provide project updates (major releases, security notices)
  • Respond to inquiries submitted via email or contact forms

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in emails or contacting privacy@soqu.org.

3.3 Security and Compliance

  • Geo-block access from restricted jurisdictions (U.S., OFAC-sanctioned countries)
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, or violations of Terms of Use
  • Comply with legal obligations (if required by court order or regulatory authority)

3.4 Analytics and Improvement

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate our Services:

  • Email service providers (e.g., Mailgun, SendGrid) for airdrop notifications
  • Cloud hosting (e.g., Cloudflare Workers) for website infrastructure
  • Analytics tools (e.g., Plausible, self-hosted) for traffic analysis

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or government request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms of Use.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences (e.g., dismissed banners)
  • Analyze traffic and usage patterns
  • Detect security threats (e.g., DDoS attacks)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit website functionality.

Types of cookies we use:

  • Essential cookies: Required for website operation (cannot be disabled)
  • Analytics cookies: Measure traffic and engagement (can be opted out)
  • Preference cookies: Store user settings (can be cleared)

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell user data to advertisers.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:

  • Email addresses: Retained until you request deletion or unsubscribe
  • Wallet addresses: Stored indefinitely for airdrop verification (immutable on blockchain)
  • IP logs: Retained for 90 days for security purposes
  • Website analytics: Aggregated data retained indefinitely (anonymized)

To request deletion of your email, contact privacy@soqu.org. Note that blockchain data (wallet addresses, transactions) cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of distributed ledgers.

7. International Data Transfers

The Soqucoin project operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States or European Union, which may have different data protection laws.

By using our Services, you consent to such transfers. We implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses, Data Processing Agreements) to protect your data during international transfers.

8. Your Rights (GDPR for EU Users)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Restriction: Limit how we process your data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent: Revoke consent for data processing at any time

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@soqu.org. We will respond within 30 days.

Note: We cannot delete or modify blockchain data (wallet addresses, transactions), as these are immutably recorded on Solana and Soqucoin networks.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption: TLS/SSL for data in transit; AES-256 for data at rest
  • Access controls: Limit employee/contractor access to personal data
